On Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Krakow, the Polish record for the longest pizza was set. The event was organized by the Makro Cash & Carry wholesale chain and us – Magillo Restaurant. Preparations for the event started in Błonia at 2 am. As you know, records of such a scale require, above all, great patience, good teamwork and determination. There is also a precise workmanship, which was ensured by a group of over 200 chefs. The requirements were clear: pizza must form one whole and have at least two toppings. After an exhausting 18 hours of work, the official juror was delighted to announce the results. Since then, the new record for the longest pizza in Poland is 1 km, 10 meters and 28 cm.
